چکیده
Abstract 70-weeks-old female C57BL6 senescence marker protein 30 knock out mice exhibited anorexia, lethargy and enlarged abdomen because of an intraperitoneal mass. On necropsy, the mouse revealed a large brown-whitish mass located on mesentery. The also systemic metastasis spread over in various organs. microscopic findings, neoplastic masses were mainly composed round cells characterized by severe anisokaryosis, narrow cytoplasm, nuclei, prominent nucleoli, numerous mitotic figures (13-15 400X field). Consequently, present case was diagnosed as metastatic lymphoma arising from mesenteric lymph node, tumor to other organs such intestine, kidney thoracic cavity. According previous studies, SMP30 plays important role inhibiting cancer both human mouse. Taken together, it seems that can be used valuable asset for evaluating potential risks depletion developing lymphoma.

Received: Revised: Accepted: Published online: August 07, 2016 December 16, 2016 December 28, 2016 January 16, 2017 Reports of testicular leiomyosarcoma are extremely rare in the veterinary literature. Here we report a case of testicular leiomyosarcoma occurring in a 32-weeks-old male senescence marker protein 30 (SMP30) knockout mouse. Grossly, a testicular mass completely replaced the right t...
متن کاملThe p47phox mouse knock-out model of chronic granulomatous disease
Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is caused by a congenital defect in phagocyte reduced nicotinamide dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase production of superoxide and related species. It is characterized by recurrent life-threatening bacterial and fungal infections and tissue granuloma formation. We have created a mouse model of CGD by targeted disruption of p47phox, one of the genes in whi...

متن کاملPAR2 knock-out C57Bl6 mice as a model for evaluating metastases of cancer cells: pilot in vivo study of the metastatic potential of B16 melanoma in knock-out (PAR2-/-) animals.
Proteinase-activated receptor 2 (PAR-2) is a ubiquitous surface molecule. It belongs to the family of G protein-coupled receptors activated by site-specific proteolysis by trypsin. Altered function of PAR-2 has been described in different malignant tumours, both in vivo and in vitro. In the present study, we investigated differences of metastatic spread of B16 melanoma in knock-out animals comp...
متن کاملInvestigation of olfactory function in a Panx1 knock out mouse model
Pannexin 1 (Panx1), the most extensively investigated member of a channel-forming protein family, is able to form pores conducting molecules up to 1.5 kDa, like ATP, upon activation. In the olfactory epithelium (OE), ATP modulates olfactory responsiveness and plays a role in proliferation and differentiation of olfactory sensory neurons (OSNs). This process continuously takes place in the OE, a...
